Near the Haras de la Potardiere, a reception  room and gites in the Farm.

The Haras de la Potardiere welcomes close to the Chateaux de la Loire and yet only two hours motorway drive from Paris, in it Farm, for receptions or events. Room can contain up to 120 personnes. 21 people will sleep in the Farm and 14 will have a rest in La Rougerie (totally 35 personnes). Gîtes can be booked for a week.

Amoungst many wonderful place to visit are Saumur, due south on te loire river, famed for its ancient “Cadre Noir” riding school and is excellent sparkling white wine. A little further east along the Loire are the extraordinary “maisons troglodytes”, built into cliffs overlooking the river, and a little further south, the magnificient abbey of Fontevraud with the tombs of Eleanor of Aquitaine, Henry II Plantagenet, and their son Richard the Lion Heart.
